Apple Flavor Combination of natural ω-3 fatty acids with vitamins D3, A and E. The daily dose (5 ml) offers 1200 mg of ω-3 fatty acids with beneficial effects on the heart, circulation, brain function and vision. Omega 3 fatty acids belong to beneficial polyunsaturated fats and are divided into two categories, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is found naturally in plant foods, such as linseed and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), contained in fish. Α-linolenic acid (ALA) is converted into EPA and DHA in the body, while EPA and DHA are readily absorbed by the body from the foods they contain. DHA and EPA help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels (this concerns intake of 2000 mg from adults only), normal blood pressure (this concerns intake of 3000 mg from adults only), and normal heart function. DHA helps maintain normal brain function and vision. Vitamin D contributes to the functioning of the immune system as well as the nervous and muscular systems. In addition, it contributes to better absorption of calcium and phosphorus by the body, thereby contributing to normal bone and tooth health. Vitamin A contributes to eye health and to the immune system, while Vitamin E is a well-known antioxidant, which protects cells from oxidative stress. Norwegian Moller's fish oils are produced from wild fish and not from aquaculture and are in the form of non-synthetic natural triglycerides for high absorption by the body (up to 98%). They are processed within 24 hours of the catch. They are supplements of high quality & purity. In addition, their production and packaging in a nitrogen atmosphere protects them from photochemical oxidation. RECOMMENDED DOSAGE Recommended from 6 months of age and for adults. Adults: 1 or 2 teaspoons per day (5-10ml). Children under 12 years: 1 teaspoon per day. CAUTIONS Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store in a dry place at room temperature. Once opened, store in the refrigerator, away from small children and keep for up to 3 months.
